Here's God's Plan on How to Grow Your Church Effectively

Image
centerod.com When we say "God's plan on growing your church effectively," we mean church growth that pleases God because it goes according to his Word. There are 101 ways to grow a church and even turn it into a mega church. Question is, is it done the same way Jesus and the apostles in Acts did church in Scriptures? If not, then it cannot please God, no matter if it has millions of members and income. Only Jesus and his ways can please God. For on (Jesus) God the Father has placed his seal of approval. [John 6.27] So, here are tips on how to make your church pleasing to God so He'd grow it: 1. Be a church deep and rooted in God's Word. And I don't mean do a lot of bible studies or that members should go to seminary or bible school. Be deep and rooted in the spoken Word of God in the bible. Man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes out from the mouth (spoken) of God. [Matthew 4] 2. Trash church activities that are p

The Great Church Revival We All Have Been Waiting For: What It's All About!

Image
In these end times, God will do a great church revival before Jesus comes back. He will do this to restore all things in these last days: Heaven must receive him until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets. [Acts 3.21] And the whole idea is that God will cause the glorious church of Jesus Christ to appear on earth, not as another religion or church denomination, but in the lives of true believers, regardless of church affiliation. They will experience a supernatural touch from God and begin to seriously live out the LIFE of Jesus Christ in the Word of God.  The glorious church of Jesus Christ will have no physical address or headquarters but will powerfully and radiantly reside in the lives of radical Jesus believers.  Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. [Isaiah 60]. Failed Church Revivals Churches have been trying to come up with the right revival formula for

Jesus' Cross: Still Foolishness and a Stumbling Block to Most People

Image
runluaurun.com It seems we recognize the wooden cross more than what it symbolizes. The wooden church is more acceptable in church (it's placed on church buildings and inside altars) than the sufferings of Christ which we are called to: To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps. [1 Peter 2.21] Of course, we're not to have ourselves crucified literally on the cross. Christ already did that to pay for our sins. We don't need to repeat it. But we have to embrace the life of suffering persecution for His Name and for living out his Word daily. The Jesus cross is also about staying meek and simple, "poor in spirit" and abandoning all forms of worldliness while being in the world. It's about living the holy life of Jesus and stopping feeding the flesh or ego. This Jesus cross is still foolishness to many church people and still serves as a stumbling block.  The meaning of th

What Isn't Planted by the Father Will be Uprooted

GOD's Flesh: And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God;  I myself will see him with my own eyes—I, and not another. How my heart yearns within me! [Job 19,26-17] indianapublicmedia.org "Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots," [Matthew 15.13]. Jesus said, e very plant --there are many who plant, and sincerely at that. I can imagine many of the planters believe their plants are the Father's plants. Like the Pharisees. They were the "licensed," titled, and legitimate spiritual leaders of the true religion at the time.  "The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat.   So you must be careful to do everything they tell you," [Matthew 23.2] They belonged to the correct, bible based religion that found its origin in Moses, the man of God. Even Jesus vouched for the fact. And yet, they were not of the Father. Their plant was not planted by

What You Do When There's Division in the Family

Image
blog.mapconsulting.com We all know that a family divided in schisms is bad news and shouldn't remain like that. In fact, the Master said a house divided against itself will not last. So what do we do? If we're the responsible type of family member, we fix it pronto. We'd do everything, even spend all our money and time, just to put things back together, weld them to permanence, if possible.  Well, there are those who just settle for separation, annulment, or divorce. You mess up family ties and you reap the bad harvest from the bad seed you sow. Broken marriages and families will never amount to the plan or will God wants for you, even if you try to decorate your divorce or annulment with showbiz-style embellishments. The Word says "God hates divorce," and nothing can change that. But some divorce strangely produce lots of money and productive children. Have you noticed it? I've watched several examples featured and promoted on TV. Since their div

HOW GOD's MOVE BECOMES MAN's RELIGION: How to Preserve God's Moves

Image
www.garylellis.org Ever since, God has been doing moves to fulfill his will--particularly to build His Son's Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven through the glorious church of Jesus Christ, without spot or wrinkle or any other blemish. God does it for his glory. And ever since, man has been taking that glory for himself. Man's religion is all about himself and legitimizes that by using God's Word and God's move. The religion may claim to be of, through, and for God but you see nothing there except man and his will for God. If you're sharp spiritually, it's easy to spot a religion by man even a mile away. It often looks attractive and luring--they do every gimmick to make it seem God is there (to make you feel blessed)--but it's all artificial. If you're a genuine seeker, seek no less than God and what is genuinely his--and preserve it for him. Never use it for your own glory--to advance and promote your church and grow your membership.
