Apostolic Move Preserves the Genuine Church

Image
To protect itself  from worldliness, Acts church disciples (or followers of the Way) devoted themselves to the apostles' teachings [Acts 2.42]. The modern church doesn't. In fact, most church people today do not know what apostolic teachings are. In these last days when the devil is hellbent on deceiving even the elect (if that were possible), the church ought to devote itself to the apostles' teachings more than ever. [Photo above from Aditya Romansa, Unsplash] The ignorant think you have to be an apostle to be apostolic. Worse, they think the apostolic invents new gospels or adds new teachings to the Word of God. Fake apostolics may do that, but not the genuine ones. The apostolic simply means taking Jesus seriously and applying his spiritual principles to daily life and ministry as the apostles did--nothing more, nothing less. God's Word and ways alone. Nothing whatsoever of the world. Like the least being the greatest . It's a powerful teaching of Jesus [

How the Apostolic Move Makes You Relevant in Heaven

Image
No, you don't have to become an apostle or prophet to be in the apostolic. Apostolic means being relevant to what God is doing. Being in the same Kingdom wavelength. The apostles had that connection to heaven. Their faith enabled them to do what Jesus did, and then greater things, said Jesus. They did nothing else. They didn't sit down and plan and decide things among themselves what's next and then asked God to bless it. [Image above from Karl Magnuson, Unsplash]. The spiritual disease of the modern church is its desperation to make things happen on its own so it can beat some deadline or be ahead in some competition for greatness. It has lost the discipline to wait on God. It plans and prays and does as it pleases. Often, it copies from the world or gets hints from it. It lures people (its number one mistake) by giving them what they crave for. It identifies with the crowd. But no matter what accomplishments you get using worldly ways, you remain irrelevant in the

Order of Melchizedek 1

Image
Pixabay The Jesus Christ living in you (if you have repented of sins and fully surrendered your life to Jesus as your Savior and Lord) is in the order of Melchizedek. You have to realize this. This is apostolic. You have to know the power in this, and how it should work for you. God won't decide this change of priesthood for no reason. Melchizedek passages appear only three times in the whole bible (in Genesis, Psalm 110 and in Hebrews) and yet these appearances are backed up with heaven's emphasis. You'd feel it. Why would the father of faith, Abram, give him a tenth of everything after defeating his enemies? Why not give the tenth to the king of Sodom who also met him after his victory? Be careful who you give your tenth to. Not all kings or priests are from Melchizedek's order. You see, after your spiritual victories in life, two kings are bound to meet you--Melchizedek and the king of Sodom. Abram was careful not to accord Sodom's king with credit

Apostolic Teachings 3: Least is Greatest

Image
Apostolic 2 here. Another powerful apostolic teaching is the least is the greatest in the Kingdom. Church knows a bit about this but nobody believes it, because you see them all aching to be somebody. They want to hold the highest titles and degrees, positions, have highest church attendance, the mega-est church of all. They're obsessed with greatness. They all look down on small churches. Why? Because churches do not devote themselves to the apostles' teachings--because they don't know what it is. They think it's some optional thing. It's either they don't know what it is or do know but belittle it--because nobody today wants to be least. They're all out to grab titles and positions and to be popularly great in men's eyes. But the Acts believers "devoted" themselves to apostolic teachings, one of which is Jesus' standard of greatness in the Kingdom-- the least is the greatest . Pastors can stay healthy. Apostolic Teachings 2: The Son Can Do Nothing

Image
Here's Part 1 Acharaporn Kamornboonyarush As I've said, the church needs to DEVOTE itself to the apostle's teachings as the Acts church did. I stress on the word "devote" once more. They didn't just try or touch on them. The believers in Acts devoted themselves to it. As serious as the picture shown above. And apostolic teachings are found all over Scriptures, both Old and New. The church's problem is, they can't see it. They read past them but don't see them in spirit. So the church has become worldly, worldlier than the world. It has religious rituals to make it look spiritual--everything orderly and according to their sound theology--but very worldly nonetheless. Rituals will never fool God. God looks for his truth, his Word made flesh. Genuinely apostolic and prophetic. Without this, church naturally and inevitably turns worldly. That's why we have to devote in them. Abiding in GOD's presence. Click here. Here's

Apostolic Teachings

Image
Energepic.Com As I've said, the church needs to devote itself in apostolic teachings as the Acts church did. For one thing, Paul said God's mysterious plans for the church are revealed to apostles and prophets--nothing said about pastors unless probably he is apostolic and prophetic. A pastor devoted to apostolic teachings becomes apostolic. More so if he is connected to an apostle. I know this talk about apostles and the apostolic is kinda weird to a lot of church people today, especially to those initiated in human theologies. It's because the church is lost. Yes, it continues to do ministry, but does so only in it's own mind and strength. It's not enough to pray for your programs. More importantly, we need to make sure we're doing God's plan. Here's God's plan: In reading this, then, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, 5 which was not made known to people in other generations as it has now been revealed b

Does Your Discipleship Produce Apostles and Prophets?

Image
GoodStock.Photos A private company embarks on an ambitious and gargantuan project. It needs the best expertise to handle the undertaking. What does it do? Hire the best for the job. And what do they mean by "the best"? Well trained personnel with competent scholastic record. People with the best school credentials and who have undergone advanced relevant studies. What does the church with a similar venture do? It gets the best. Expectedly, it gets those with bible school and seminary degrees, even doctorate degrees. It's a serious and major task so the church gets nothing less. Most preferably, people selected should have a position--director of this and that, superintendent, bishop, etc. If not, they undergo rigid training, schooling or seminars in the best bible institutions. But what does God do? When Jesus was about to start his important mission-- save the world , a big task, nothing like it in all of world history--he chose "ordinary, unschooled
